About

Since 2016, we have come together as a community to serve others. We build trail bridges, paint sheds, pick up trash, plant memorials, provide home maintenance, clean gutters, rake lawns, revitalize historic graves, remove crumbling decks, and bring joy to residents in and around Windham, Maine.

We believe that by helping our community, from all walks of life with many different skills and voices, we can make a difference.

Hundreds of people are given t-shirts and supplies, and organized into dozens of teams that go out to help residents and organizations in our community.  Everyone meets back hours later to share stories over a barbecue.

The event is free for all volunteers and those receiving help.  Each year we have raised enough sponsor dollars and donations to cover the t-shirts, food, and supplies needed to make PowerServe an incredibly successful day.  In the future, we would like to get additional companies making tax -deductible contributions and encourage more individuals to volunteer so we can help more people in our community. PowerServe Leadership Team has represented adult and student volunteers from YoungLife, Windham High School, Windham and surrounding towns, and Windham businesses.

PowerServe is proudly presented by YoungLife Sebago.
